The Fabelmans (2022)

I want my $20 bucks back. My in-laws were excited for this. We purchased (don't- wait until it's free in a week or two). I watched an hour and was so bored my the ridiculous dialog, and just overall... blah; that I left and watched Terminator: Dark Fate (not too shabby)- my wife and I'm-laws finished it.

When I asked if it got any better- I spent another hour hearing about what a letdown it was ect.

It's just be honest- it's a vanity movie. It's a story of divorce and mental issues- that's cool for some, but I think most were looking for an Amazing Stories level show... not a 2022 buzzkill.

Leave it be and go watch E. T.

Prey (I) (2022)

Finally, something fun.

To be honest- I have had a hard time finding any action movies that are built to stream that have been worth a damn. Prey was pretty cool. Needed to edit 10 minutes of "fluff" from front end and Frenchmen part to make it tight; but super fun.

Bear fight scene was money!

What a great final movie for a class act!

Really a good movie about regrets and remembering what's important in life.

Nice show... thank you for all the memories Mr. Borgnine.

When Bill looks at Jimmy and says, "you used to be such a good boy... you used to smile and laugh... what the hell happened to you?" That my friends is what happens when you create a world around booze... movie was so on the point that it caught me off guard on how accurate the journey is out of a bottle. Something amazing here.

Prospect (2018)

Whoa... Spectacular Sci Fi Movie!!!!

Terrific acting. Engaging characters and story, with some added surprises. What a treat. Not too into rewatching movies, but this is a precious exception. The production is super tight. Sophie and Pedro were amazing fits for these roles. Nice job.

Read the Roadside Picnic, so I knew the premise... Never, and I mean, never have I watched and enjoyed a movie for the concept art of the film. This movie is unbelievable in terms of shear magnitude and depth. I found myself thinking on this movie for weeks now after watching... grappling with the beauty and the ideas created in my mind. Stunning.

Fatman (2020)

This movie is what I needed after 2020... Funny jokes. Great acting (Mel is on point). Critics are criers. Don't over analyze it. If you like some dark humor, violence, and a movie that just drives itself.
