this movie blew me away. unbelievable gem

this is one of the greatest movies. first time director ryan johnson delivers a masterpiece. this is a must see.

the original truly is original. starring a great jeff bridges. very enjoyable

the ending can use a little improvement, a bit unbelievable, not in terms of the fighting but all the bad guys suffer from james bond syndrome (instead of killing this guy lets a. tie him up and walk away b. stand still and be killed or c. put down our weapons and give a fair fight bc thats more important than guaranteeing killing the guy. this movie is very quick paced. never a dull moment. good actors. good acting. great story (1984 meets the matrix) i especially loved christian bales son.

i am surprised this didnt make the top 250. before mel gibson turned crazy he only played crazy in movies and he was good at it. danny glover and mel gibson are great together. the bad guys are really bad in this. and on top of that they have "diplomatic immunity". not too worry. great action. fun story. very funny. lethal weapon should be on this list too but the series hit its high note in 1989 with lethal weapon 2

future movie stars turn in great roles. matt damon proves why he is a star now. brendan fraser is very enjoyable in the lead role. the story is amazing. more people should see this.

i apologize if this is on the top 250. but i couldnt find it. this is a great movie and i cant believe it didnt make it. jack nicholson is phenomenal in this. great supporting cast too including greg kinnear and cuba gooding jr.

i could not believe how good this movie was. the one bad thing. john cusack is not funny. it was painful watching him say what were clearly meant as comedic lines but delivered atrociously. his part as the romantic lead worked fine. i was a bit disappointed that clark duke didnt have more lines nor was he allowed to be his mysoginistic characters from 'clark and michael' and 'sex drive'. craig robinson was very funny but this movie was all rob corddry. i couldnt believe how hilarious he was. truthfully i always thought he was a poor mans david koechner (partially bc i had trouble telling the two part). this movie made me a believer in rob corddry. the man is hilarious.

great movie. just great. sean connery and rob brown are great in it. i actually thought that rob brown would become a star after this. only time will tell i guess. gus van sant does a great job but it is the story that wins here and makes this movie special.

the director pulls out all the tricks and it works. the stories are great and the actors all do a great job. james van der beek really impressed me. he did a great job and i am sad now that he did not become more of a star
