My own personal opinion of who are the 20 Greatest actors (Not my favorite, but who i feel are the most talented)...although most of them are in my favorite bracket! Im 22 years old, and a massive movie fan! I have a broad range of films but if i miss out the Great Actors before the 50's era, its because iv'e not yet ventured into the olden black and white films per-say!

1. Al Pacino

Actor | Serpico

Alfredo James "Al" 'Pacino established himself as a film actor during one of cinema's most vibrant decades, the 1970s, and has become an enduring and iconic figure in the world of American movies.

He was born April 25, 1940 in Manhattan, New York City, to Italian-American parents, Rose (nee Gerardi)...

Need i explain?...Quite simply the Greatest Actor there is and probably ever will be. A lot of critics regard Marlon Brando as the best method actor of them all...but i think Mr Pacino has beat him to the finish line.

Its a tough call to separate who you prefer, De Niro or Pacino? A question that will always linger in your mind. An actor known for his tough/gritty style, his performances as Vito Corleone in The Godfather II and Jake La Motta in Raging Bull cement his place as one of the 'Greats'.

Jack completes my Top 3, his style, cool-persona and ability to make you laugh into stitches make him one of my favorites. I own almost all of his films and can watch them over and over again. His performance in 'The Shining' is both chilling and need i say it, hilarious in some aspects. Just a brilliant actor with no limits.

4. Marlon Brando

Actor | Apocalypse Now

Marlon Brando is widely considered the greatest movie actor of all time, rivaled only by the more theatrically oriented Laurence Olivier in terms of esteem. Unlike Olivier, who preferred the stage to the screen, Brando concentrated his talents on movies after bidding the Broadway stage adieu in ...

Given i have not seen all of his films, his mysterious acting and ability to suck you towards the picture when he's on screen is enough to persuade me (not just his reputation) that he is deserving to be near the top. I know he's considered the Greatest of them all by film critics everywhere, i suppose a few may see this as an insult at number 4, but its high up given i've only seen a few of his films, 'The Godfather' and 'Apolocalypse Now' are some of my favorites however.

Lead and supporting actor of the American stage and films, with sandy colored hair, and pale complexion. He won an Oscar as Best Supporting Actor for his performance in The Deer Hunter (1978), and has been seen in mostly character roles, often portraying psychologically unstable individuals, though...

A rare individual of the film-industry. He very much has a style of his own, very quirky-dark style. However he is more versatile than people think.

15. Johnny Depp

Actor | Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

John Christopher "Johnny" Depp II was born on June 9, 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Betty Sue Palmer (née Wells), a waitress, and John Christopher Depp, a civil engineer. He was raised in Florida.
