Truly creepy film. Jack Nicholson's performance as his character spirals into insanity is remarkable; it seems he was born to play this part. The rest of the cast was great too and nicely directed.

Nolan's non-linear, twist filled plot and brilliant cast makes The Prestige a beautiful tale of rivalry and deceit.

3. Atonement (2007)

This film really pleasantly surprised me. You think it's going one way but then it turns and heads in a different one. A beautiful tale of love and redemption. Not your typical romance.

4. Zodiac (2007)

Truly captures the feeling and tone of the time. Acting is great all round and each scene seems perfectly crafted. The attention to detail in the cases makes viewers compelled to solve them. Truly extraordinary film which extends your experience beyond the credits and potentially into a second viewing.

5. Lady Vengeance (2005)

Beautifully shot and well crafted revenge film.

6. Kick-Ass (2010)

Highly entertaining, great cast, soundtrack and comedy. To be enjoyed across all ages. It's near perfection and lives up to the title; it kicks ass!

7. Heat (1995)

Potentially the last Michael Mann film before he went for the cheap digital look. Great film about cops and robbers; the relationship between Pacino and De Niro's characters makes for a classic piece of cinema.

8. Pan's Labyrinth (2006)

Magical, mystifying and beautiful.

9. From Russia with Love (1963)

Classic Bond and in my opinion Connery's best outing as 007.

10. Inception (2010)

Nolan's best film. Unbelievably extraordinary and exciting. You are taken into another world and are thrown into a thrilling, mind bending adventure. Quite easily my favourite film of all time. The cast, soundtrack, cinematography and special effects are all superb. It just does not get old.

11. Psycho (1960)

Even if you don't like it, you have to appreciate it for being the first of its kind. Psycho breaks conventions and shocks the audiences - a classic.

12. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

The best in the series. Pure adventure which never gets old. Nicely cast and captures the fun and intrigue of adventure which makes for a perfect escapist experience.

13. Fight Club (1999)

Completely exceeded my expectations. Brilliant, funny and witty. Awesome film.

14. The Dark Knight (2008)

Basically all the films in Nolan's trilogy are great but The Dark Knight definitely is it's strong point. Fast paced, thrilling and truly spectacular. Almost completely flawless. If you haven't seen any from the trilogy, do, you're in for a treat :D

15. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Can be a little hard to grasp at first but ultimately enjoyable. A cute and eccentric love story told in an unusual way.

Near perfect and fresh romantic comedy. Great acting and directing. One of the cutest films I've ever seen.

Classic 60s spy thriller featuring the legendary Michael Caine. Cool and with a subtle humour. Nicely shot and well acted. A must see for any spy, 60s or Caine fans.
