This is one of my all time favorite thrillers! It was so good. Amanda seyfried is an amazing actress. The only thing I wish this movie had more of was Joel Moore. He had such a small role. This is such an underated movie 8.5/10 stars.

Director: Gary Ross | Stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci

Votes: 1,003,882 | Gross: $408.01M

So far, this is my favorite movie of 2012. I saw it 3 times. It was crappy compared to the book, but as a movie, really good. I saw a lot of complaints about racism. What racism? I didn't think it was racist at all. The cast was amazing. I would have to say Woody harlsson as Haymitch, and Elizabeth banks as Effie were the best. Keep them for the sequels. 9/10 stars.

11. The Three Stooges (2012)

Funniest movie of the year! This one is so hard to beat. I absolutely dispise Jersey shore, and what happened to them in this movie, was awesome! Everything was just so funny! 9/10 stars.

Votes: 100,956 | Gross: $14.33M

So originally, I was taking a date to see 21 jump street. It got cancelled for some reason so she chose Lockout instead. I didn't really want to see it because I didn't get the trailers. It turned out better than I thought it was going to be. The jokes were outragously funny. Great action sequences. Guy pearce deserves an award for this movie. It was so underated. 8/10 stars.

Director: Nicholas Stoller | Stars: Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Chris Pratt, Alison Brie

Votes: 102,575 | Gross: $28.84M

This movie sucked so much. It did have funny parts, but what made it so crappy, was that the actors and actresses had no emotions. They all seemed like they didn't want to be there making that movie. 2/10 stars.

14. The Avengers (2012)

Votes: 1,459,600 | Gross: $623.28M

This is my second favorite movie of the year. By far, the best super hero movie ever. I thought all of the super heros were better in this movie, than they were in their own movies. The new Hulk was the best Hulk ever. I loved every bit of it. The jokes were so funny. Scarlett Johanson was my favorite part of it. 9/10 stars.

Votes: 334,998 | Gross: $59.65M

Sacha Baron cohen does it again. This was so funny! At one part, I laughed so hard I was in tears. I will definetely be buying it on dvd when it comes out. So funny! 8/10 stars.

16. Dark Shadows (2012)

Director: Tim Burton | Stars: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Helena Bonham Carter

Votes: 280,512 | Gross: $79.73M

They showed all the funny parts in the preview. I'm not sure if it was meant to be a comedy or a soap opera like the tv series. I did like how they left it at a cliff hanger at the end. If Tim burton makes a sequel, I will go see it. 5/10 stars.

17. Chernobyl Diaries (2012)

Six tourists hire an extreme tour guide who takes them to the abandoned city Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. During their exploration, they soon discover they are not alone.

Director: Bradley Parker | Stars: Jesse McCartney, Jonathan Sadowski, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Nathan Phillips

Votes: 68,637 | Gross: $18.12M

This was better than I thought. I was a little worried that it would suck because it was made from the creators of Paranormal activity. I didn't like the first one, and refuse to watch 2,3, and 4, and how ever many more they make. Back to Chernobyl: I thought it was pretty good. The scenery in the movie was fantastic. The ending was really really stupid. I got a private showing for this one. I was the only one in the theater. It was awesome. It reminded me of The hills have eyes. 7/10 stars.

18. Prometheus (I) (2012)

R | 124 min | Adventure, Mystery, Sci-Fi

64 Metascore

Following clues to the origin of mankind, a team finds a structure on a distant moon, but they soon realize they are not alone.

Director: Ridley Scott | Stars: Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron

Votes: 644,333 | Gross: $126.48M

I love Noomi Rapace. I love Alien movies, so I had to see this. I saw this twice. This was a great movie. The special effects were amazing. The "engineers" were so ugly, I wanted to shoot them in the face, they were so ugly. Over all this movie was amazing. One of my favorites of 2012. 9/10 stars.

19. Rock of Ages (2012)

PG-13 | 123 min | Comedy, Drama, Musical

47 Metascore

Director: Adam Shankman | Stars: Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin

Votes: 81,676 | Gross: $38.52M

I saw this 3 times. I love the music, I pretty much whisper sang to all of the songs in the movie. Tom cruise was amazing. I would have never thought he would make a good rockstar. I wish Catherine Zeta-jones had a bigger role, and more dancing from her too. I love watching her sing and dance. The only thing I didn't like about it, was that Russell Brand was in it. I do not like a thing about him. 8/10 stars.

20. That's My Boy (2012)

R | 116 min | Comedy, Drama

31 Metascore

While in his teens, Donny fathered a son, Todd, and raised him as a single parent until Todd's 18th birthday. Now Donny resurfaces just before Todd's wedding after years apart, sending the groom-to-be's world crashing down.

Director: Sean Anders | Stars: Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Leighton Meester, Susan Sarandon

Votes: 108,955 | Gross: $36.93M

I love Adam sandler movies. I don't know why everyone is ranting about him. I think I am the only one who thinks his movies are still good. Most movies, the beggining is the worst part, but with this one, I literally never stopped laughing during Donny's (Adam sandler) childhood. I cannot wait until this comes out on DVD!!! 8/10 stars.

21. Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

PG-13 | 127 min | Action, Adventure, Biography

57 Metascore

In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.

Director: Rupert Sanders | Stars: Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Sam Claflin

Votes: 302,458 | Gross: $155.33M

This was so boring. I did not enjoy it at all. The fairies looked like the thing from Lord of the rings that said My precious. If I came across them, I would have killed them. The evil queen was really stupid. Why would she just not kill anyone and get old until the end? Dumb. I didn't like this at all. The 7 dwarves were cool though. 3/10 stars.

22. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012)

R | 101 min | Adventure, Comedy, Drama

59 Metascore

Director: Lorene Scafaria | Stars: Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Melanie Lynskey, Patton Oswalt

Votes: 118,791 | Gross: $6.62M

This movie was definetely underated. I'm not really a big fan of Kiera Knightley, but I loved her in this movie. Steve Carell was also awesome, of course. It is a drama, with funny parts in it. I laughed some, but I was also sad during a lot of it. The ending was sad, but happy at the same time. Just an all out, amazing movie. 7.5/10 stars.

23. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012)

PG | 93 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

60 Metascore

The Madagascar animals join a struggling European circus to get back to New York, but find themselves being pursued by a psychotic animal-control officer.

Directors: Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath, Conrad Vernon | Stars: Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer

Votes: 198,032 | Gross: $216.39M

For a family movie, it was good. I love the other 2 Madagascar films. This was probably my favorite one. Alex is still my favorite character. 6/10 stars.

24. Ted (2012)

R | 106 min | Comedy

62 Metascore

John Bennett, a man whose childhood wish of bringing his teddy bear to life came true, now must decide between keeping the relationship with the bear, Ted or his girlfriend, Lori.

Director: Seth MacFarlane | Stars: Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Seth MacFarlane, Joel McHale

Votes: 657,652 | Gross: $218.82M

The plot was good, but they showed 99% of the funny parts in the previews. I think my favorite part was from the cameo from a certain actor (I won't spoil it) and the last line in it. For every other part, I was like, when will this end? 3/10 stars.

25. Part of Me (2012)

PG | 93 min | Documentary, Music

57 Metascore

A look at the life, career and music of singer Katy Perry as we follow her on the California Dreams World Tour.

Votes: 13,872 | Gross: $25.24M

I saw this at the special fan sneak on 07/02/12, so I got the special 3D glasses, and poster. I loved this movie, but then again. I love Katy Perry. If you don't like Katy perrry, don't go see it. If you love documentarys, go see it. If you love getting inspired, go see it. I absolutely loved it. I will probably see it again. 7/10 stars.

26. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

PG-13 | 136 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

66 Metascore

After Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to save the city from the machinations of a mysterious reptilian foe.

Director: Marc Webb | Stars: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Irrfan Khan

Votes: 702,478 | Gross: $262.03M

I don't know if this was better than the original 2003 film, but this was pretty good. Way better than I thought it would be. I like how the new spiderman has a mouth on him, where as Toby maguire spider man didn't. It was really enjoyable. 7/10 stars.
