My Favorite Directors

This is the main man who brought us the bar of cinema filmmaking. I love his movies like Saving Private Ryan, Schindeler's List, E.T, Close Encounters with the Third Kind, and Jaws. His ability to capture the frame of the picture shows that he can bring the humanity in the movies. And that's why I'm placing him at number 1.
2. James Cameron

James Cameron is the architect of the way we watch sci-fi film. (only the good and big ones.) He's bold, brave, and know what is he is doing in filmmaking. Sure he maybe strict but he also knows his chocies very well.
He made films like The Terminator, Aliens, The Abyss, Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Titanic. Titanic was the movie the proclaim that James Cameron is the King of the World because Titanic became the highest grossing film in 1997 and 11 Oscars inculding Best Picture.
My point is that Cameron has a strong foothold in science fiction and is good with films with a high budget never losing sight of the story.

On a personal note: I love The Godfather parts I and II because they are both will done films. The Godfather III, eh not so much.
But overall, he is one of the greatest filmmakers before Steven Spilberg came into the picture.

He's great in a alot of ways. Why, because he has landmark films during the eighties like Romancing the Stone, Back to the Future, and How Framed Roger Rabbit.
But those are pales in comprassion to the Oscar wrothy masterpiece of Forrest Gump.
