This is just a short film (without any voice acting at that) but it was really good. The symbolic meaning of the dumpling son is the trade off between a mothers love and sacrifice, a child’s independence, as well as letting go and family.

To be fair, this was a pretty good movie. I really enjoyed the humour and the twists it took me through. I was pleasantly surprised that things I predicted didn’t happen the way I thought. The end was also very heartwarming.
