Lonely Heart is about a burrowing demon that preys on lonely hearts at a nightclub.

Kicking into gear already, with a masterpiece. Angel out of his element and on the hunt. Introducing Kate Lockley, who has some wonderful exchanges with our boy; one entering the club for the second time and the other at the crime scene when Angel escapes. Excellent and appropriate music, including "Vast - Touched." What I like about this burrower demon is that it isn't reliant upon one actor, each play their part and play both the hunter and hunted, the hunter with confidence and aggressiveness in a dating setting. It's unique, meanwhile Angel, Kate, Doyle and Cordy in the same setting with the task at hand and their own wants and issues. Lilli Birdsell as Sharon terrific, the bartender the weaker performance of the lot. After all said and done, Angel has made a connection with Kate and thus more a part of the world in which he wishes to save.

Angel: I'm just asking you not to go in there. Kate: Where are you going? Angel: In there. Kate: Well, I'll tell you what, I can go wherever I want, oh, and you can ah, go to Hell! Angel: Been there, done that.
