I didn't have much expectations going in. I just thought it could be interesting. Something different from the agendas Hollywood is pushing nowadays. I just want to be entertained.
Well, this is not it, not for me at least. The drama felt forced, unrealistic, somewhat over the top. A lot of things that don't make sense. The close up camerawork is very annoying...always the same look too. The pacing is off too. Nothing works for me here.
I stopped watching somewhere on the 2nd episode, when a shooter shot a cop, reyka shouts the cop's name and rushes to him. The assailant magically didn't shoot at her, just waiting there. The downed cop utters her name, Reyka... and now she exchanges fire and kills the assailant. Wow! So realistic! Not cliche at all. Oh, she also single handedly found the bodies in the field, no partner, just her and a dog. I am pretty sure she is superwoman and the men here are idiots
