Very low budget, but fun Jess Franco/ Andrea Bianchi madness!

Warning: Spoilers
This 1985 film was definitely a rip-off of the very successful Boys From Brazil, but with some brand new ideas, twists and scenery. I think it was a brilliant decision for them to essentially have Mengele running an Army in South America. I also enjoyed the slight glimpses we catch of his creations, although they weren't very long scenes. Overall, no nudity, which is extremely rare for both Bianchi and Franco, especially the latter. Nevertheless, the action starts off immediately, then withers off for around thirty minutes, before kicking back into gear. If they would've added some more action in that dull period, along with plenty more sleaze, then this would have been one Hell of a movie. Instead, we got this extremely low budget film, with very funny fight scenes and one explosion in particular that is priceless. So basically good for some laughs and a few clever ideas with what to do with the fictional version of Josef Mengele. Also a must for.fans of either director.
