In The Dive, two sisters go diving at a remote location. One of the sisters is struck by a rock, leaving her trapped 28 meters below. With dangerously low levels of oxygen, it is up to her sister to fight for her life.
While very simple, other than the technical aspects, something you've seen before and straight to the point in terms of story and setup, effective and resonating though. I always ask why when people put themselves in these situations, but I guess the same can apply to driving a car, which isn't always necessary. The performances aren't outstanding or memorable by any means, but they're believable performances, which counts for a bit. Missing a humorous line about the car at the end I reckon.
