Lindsay Lohan has admitted to telling "really hurtful and untruthful lies" about her mother Dina Lohan during a leaked phonecall to her father. The Liz & Dick star phoned Michael Lohan to complain about Dina after the pair had an altercation earlier this week. However, Lindsay has since explained to TMZ that an allegation made during the call that her mother had taken cocaine was untrue. "I'm really regretful about the argument I had with my mother and it being made public," said the actress. "Mothers and daughters fight. You know, I called my father and told him some really hurtful and untruthful lies about my mom. My mom does not do cocaine, clearly. And that's a fact." Lindsay explained (more)...

I’ve never made a secret of the fact that I’ve liked Revenge since the pilot, but this week’s episode completely cemented my love of this fun new drama. It’s true that it’s somewhat ridiculously easy for Emily to take down her enemies each hour, but who cares when it’s so much fun to watch? Not only that, but the most recent episode episode wasn’t just about setting up and taking down the conspirator of the week. It also built in a few additional mysteries, revealed some effective backstory and set up some interesting storylines going forward.
Let’s start at the beginning. Years ago, when Amanda Clarke was still a young girl after her father had been arrested, she was being evaluated by a court-appointed shrink by the name of Dr. Michelle Banks. Back then, Dr. Banks was visited by Victoria, who suggested that Amanda be institutionalized.

Emily Thorne has a new target to take down on tonight's all new episode of Revenge. This time she's going after Dr. Michelle Banks (played by guest star Amy Landecker). Dr. Banks is the doctor responsible for having Amanda institutionalized after everything that happened with her father.
In tonight's episode, Victoria and Conrad are finally starting to realize that a lot of their friends/conspirators have met with unlucky fates lately and the family is worried after all of the recent scandals. Conrad deals with his stress by making a secret visit to see Lydia. Victoria decides to throw all of her energy into party planning and gets involved in a Mothers and Daughters charity event for mental health, which is where Dr. Banks comes in.
Emily attends the event as well and thoroughly enjoys publicly humiliating one of the people who helped destroy her life. Since Revenge is all...

In the most recent episode of Revenge, Emily took down her most high profile conspirator yet: Senator Kingsley, who just so happened to be the federal prosecutor who helped put her father behind bars.
All of the recent scandals of their former conspirators is finally getting to the Grayson family on the October 12 episode of Revenge.
Conrad and Victoria are on edge after all of the scandals of their former friends and both of them deal with it in different ways. Conrad decides to secretly visit Lydia, while Victoria focuses all of her attention on her Mothers and Daughters charity event for mental health, which she attends with Charlotte. We'll also be getting more flashbacks that show the relationship between David Clarke and Victoria.
The charity event is the perfect event for Emily to take down her next time. This time she has set her sights on Dr. Michelle Banks...

Revenge is ABC's try at a juicy primetime soap/mystery, and while the first episode had some problems, we're willing to give it a chance.
One of the things that intrigued us was the announcement that a gay character would be introduced starting in the third episode, who would be a Talented Mr. Ripley-type. We now have our first glimpse of Tyler (played by Ashton Holmes), and pics of him from the fourth episode, "Duplicity," which airs on Wednesday, October 12th at 10 Pm Et. Here's the synopsis (But it's spoilery!):
The recent scandals have the Graysons on edge, driving Conrad to pay a secret visit to Lydia and Victoria to submerse herself in her Mothers and Daughters charity event for mental health. The benefit provides the perfect opportunity for Emily to train her sights on taking down Dr. Michelle Banks, the psychiatrist responsible for institutionalizing her as a little girl,...

Mothers and daughters both are in awe of this brilliant Hollywood actor who’s been on our screens since he shot to fame in his “Roseanne” debut in 1989. Since then, he’s won people’s hearts as Doug Ross in “ER”, as Danny Ocean in all three “Ocean’s” movies and as the title character in “Michael Clayton." Thursday's (Nov. 11) episode of "The Office" revolves around its characters watching TV -- "Glee," to be exact. Erin (Ellie Kemper) organizes a viewing party on behalf of her boyfriend Gabe (Zach Woods) in an attempt to get people to like him.
The episode (called "Viewing Party") will include some footage from "Glee," and the script got a thumbs-up from the Fox show's producers. And with it, the show will become the latest in a line of TV series that have told stories involving other TV series.
"The Office" has dabbled in this kind of thing before: Dwight (Rainn Wilson) is a devotee of "Battlestar Galactica" and "24," Andy (Ed Helms) watched "Lost" and Kelly (Mindy Kaling) spends an episode undermining Dwight and Jim (John Krasinski) because they didn't go to her "America's Got Talent" finale party.
"Viewing Party," though, will make "Glee" a bigger part of the show's story than any...

I had this entire column written and between finishing it and saving it my computer froze and it all disappeared. I'd be more upset, but it wasn't that super good in the first place, but I'm not going to reproduce the whole thing from memory because frankly that's a waste of everyone's time. Anyway, lesson learned, save frequently, all that good stuff. Here's Thursday night's TV:
8:00pm: "Big Brother" on CBS
9:00pm: "Burn Notice" on USA
"Mary Knows Best" on SyFy
"Police Women of Memphis" on Tlc. I don't understand why it has to be "Police Women" but I guess a whole sale knockoff of "Cops" is just a bit too on the nose for Tlc. Because they're so known for their original programming and all.
"Project Runway" on Lifetime. Eighth season premiere.
"Rookie Blue" on ABC
Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest Tourists 2" on TruTV
"So You Think You Can Dance...

IFC, an American distributor of independent films, announced on its blog that it has acquired the American distribution rights for the Canadian film Les amours imaginaires (Heartbeats), the second film from award-winning director Xavier Dolan.
First of all, IFC acquired the distribution rights thanks to its representatives that were at the Cannes International Film Festival. In fact, Les amours imaginaires is in competition in the category Un certain regard.
The film tells the story of Francis (Dolan) and Marie (Monia Chokri) who are good friends. One night, they meet Nicolas (Niels Schneider), a young man from the country who has just settled in Montreal. From encounter to encounter, from moment to moment, troubled by innumerable signs — some real, some imagined — Francis and Marie fall deeper and deeper into a fantastical obsession with him. Soon, Francis and Marie find themselves on the precipice of a love duel that threatens the friendship they once thought indestructible.

It's been a few years since 'Striptease,' but Demi Moore's still got the moves--and she's handing them down to her daughter. Life & Style released the following statement: Mothers and daughters like to shop together -- but pole dancing? That's what Striptease star Demi Moore, 47, and daughter Rumer Willis, 21, did for fun at a party at the Chateau Marmont in La on Feb. 27. "There was a pole at the bash, and Demi thought it would be fun to show everyone she still has what it takes," a partygoer tells Life & Style. "Demi even spun around the pole upside down. It was incredible." Then it was Rumer's turn, as stepdad Ashton Kutcher and A-listers Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others, looked on. "It was strange, but Demi encouraged Rumer to join her," says the partygoer. "Everyone...

Whether you're a celebrity or not, having a relationship with your mom is a complex affair.
Dr. Michelle Golland: Mothers and daughters relationships are complicated. We love each other, we hate each other, we want to be closer and we can't stand being smothered. What we want and what we have don't always add up for us or if it adds up it doesn't feel like we thought it would. We often have anger mixed with love and joy surrounded by disappointment. Like I said it is complicated, very complicated.
Look at Heidi Montag and her mom Darlene Egelhoff. The headlines that read, "My mom looked at me like a zoo animal after my plastic surgery" are so sad but what I find important is that Heidi -- at 23 -- did all these surgeries without even talking to her mom beforehand. And this wasn't the first time in Heidi's young...
