Mr Burns has a near death experience and realises he needs a heir to inherit his money.
This is an enjoyable episode with some good character moments.
I always enjoy episodes that involve Mr Burns as I find him a very entertaining character who the writers use effectively to make evilness funny. This is a solid example of how they use the character well in conjunction with the Simpson family.
Bart and Homer both have strong moments, with Homer imparting some hilariously awful advice to Bart regarding failures in life. Other supporting characters like Smithers, Lionel Hutz, and Nelson Muntz are also used to good effect.
For me it's a 7.5/10 but so round upwards.
