Just when I finally thought the show was finding his rhythm (I liked the previous chapter enough) this happens. I mean, most of the episode was ok. I understand it is teenager-oriented, so I can accept the romance sillyness. I also think the villain part and even the FBI ones were acceptable.
But the ending? Stupid as hell.
1) After the dance, Liam goes out but Jess, instead of going to find him in the place he knew he was going to be in like 3 minutes (opening the journal) decides to call him and leave a long voice message.
2) Liam apparently decided to change the plan and stole the journal instead of waiting for the others and take the pics 3) The worst offender. The guard saw her. So instead of just staying there, allow to be checked, as she really had not the journal on her and make a furious complaint about prejudices, if needed, she just runs.
4) she needs a distraction, so her friends do something very public that will ruin her relationship with Ethan's mom and Oren chance to make business with the rich people.
5) The other bad offender. When running from doing nothing, Jess decides than instead of being caught by the governor people, with no proof whatsoever that she did anything, it is preferable to jump into the limo of the woman who kidnapped her friend and threated to kill him.
What in Heaven's name is happening here? Did the writers had 5 minutes to come with a plot for the episode?
