Get Out and Push
Prismark1022 December 2023
The Ark has a concept similar to shows such as Star Trek Voyager. As they head towards their destination. They encounter problems of the week. Unlike the Star Trek crew so far there are no alien races to deal with.

As water supplies are low, the crew are getting smelly. Some of the lower ranks are openly disobeying orders until Garnet asserts herself using very stern language.

However Alicia finds a way of gathering water when she sees that an object floating nearby is a comet and not an asteroid. The tail is water and maybe there is a way for the Ark to collect it.

Brice volunteers to fly a shuttle, but collecting the water is no easy task.

In this story. There is a sense that the crew might be putting their differences aside and work together. Although I'm not sure I could trust a group of astronauts that cannot tell the difference between an asteroid and a comet.

The series still has those hidden secrets and agendas to deal with. Lane finds something unsavoury about Garnet. She likes to battle.

Starting to recover, hopefully not too late
alexandrututica21 February 2023
I really hated the first episode, the bad effects, bad props, and generally low quality everything.

Even with all that, I kept waiting for the next episode, and the next one.

It has something to keep you there!

This ep will not be loved by scientists or some might find it a bit amusing (the lack of real physics) but after all it's a TV Show, not a documentary. It went a bit anime style

I really loved to see that now there is a increased attention to detail and in general better acting. The cast is starting to enter their roles and it's noticeable that they are less shy.

The only not so positive about this is that the plot is a bit of a mystery . Too much is happening in a short time but yet, not much of a story so far.

This show has huge potential! But right now it's in a love-hate situation with the sci-fi fan base. Every new episode is a step in the right direction.

In the end, we want sci-fi, we like the idea, we love ships, but if it's not scientifically accurate (like the expanse), at least bring in some "fantasy" tech. Right now it's like watching a 80's show, the tech is too actual, even for 100 years in the future!

Loving the Progress and Improvement Writing
jseph1234-262-61748816 February 2023
I have to say that I that I was looking forward to the New Episode of The Ark and just completed watching the episdode 3. The way that the Writing, Acting and Directing is improving is something that I am glad to see and figured would happen as Season One Progressed.

The way the plot unfolded was in a good, fluid fashion and one without the jank that I felt was in the first couple episode. The way cirucumstance came about. The reaction of the crew and Officers was very much in keeping with how a Deep Space vehicle would handle a crisis.

Also the emotions displayed were without any over-acting, dialogues were delivered with authenticity and I was VERY Satisfied with how "The Ark" is progressing.

I have been personally watching Sci-Fi T. V. since 1966 Star Trek's "The Cage"initial episode and therefore I have a WELL Developed sense for good Sci-Fi and I look forward to where "The Ark" is going!

Dumbest 'Science' Fiction program in history
LarGallo18 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
From the very first episode, it was obvious that no actual science was consulted in the making of this program. However, because I have enjoyed several of Dean Devlin's shows in the past (The Outpost was a guilty pleasure for my wife and I), I decided to give it 3 episodes. After watching 'Get out and push' I am done with this dreck. Its issues are too many to list and most have been covered in previous reviews, but this was an afront to science and physicists everywhere. Just having the ship come to a complete stop in space because the engines shut off is a hilarious disregard of actual physics. Isaac Newton must have rolled several times in his grave. Then blowing the air out of one small room to change the course a gigantic ship...all while spouting how they had checked the physics, was just as ridiculous. And don't get me started on the part where they match speed with a comet and somehow 'fill all the tanks' on the ship with water from a 12 inch hose in almost no time...from a FROZEN surface. I know most people probably don't care about how accurate the science is but I was spoiled by 'The Expanse' where they actually did the science and physics correctly...and SYFY cancelled it.

I might be able to overlook the poor special effects and disregard for actual science, but the characters are horrible and the acting is worse. After the 2nd episode, I looked at my wife and said, 'I kind of hope they all die...they really deserve it'. The icing on the cake was the video of the 98 pound 'leader' with skinny arms, killing a biker dude in a bar, although she did help break up a melee the week before... I am done and refuse to be insulted in this way.
