Maggie needs to chill out
lurch39426 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I have a relative who is in recovery, so I understand the fear and embarrassment. However, it is clear that Erin is savvy and good at improvising. Castile and Valentine needed to pull Maggie from the operation. And the idea of her going in Erin's place? The actresses don't look anything alike. That would have endangered the hostage. Her not wanting Erin to return to New York was selfish. Her sister is an adult and willing to take responsibility for herself. Maggie needs to let her live her life and stop seeing Erin as an extension of Maggie. And since when is Indianapolis without crime, drugs, and the rest of the temptations of American life?

Implausible and infuriating
melissarw-6165128 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Maggie puts her sister (who hadn't committed a crime) into a sting operation then flips out at her for possibly doing the drugs so she didn't get made by the thug. Ummm... isn't that what happens when someone is "undercover"?

Implausible that they would have let Erin get so involved, she's not an FBI agent, not a CI, yet she's meeting this violent armed men for a ransom drop? No way. With Maggie shaming Erin, who did not have to be involved, every step of the way. Maybe it's more infuriating to me because I am an ex-addict, but I wish I hadn't seen this episode. It made me like Maggie a lot less.

What is wrong with Maggie
devvrathk27 April 2023
Maggie will go towards bullets to help strangers But when it come to helping her own sister, she is always accusing her and doing barely anything to help her.

Forget that, she did not even suggest her sister to get A LAWYER when dealing with FBI

on top of that, she sent her own recovering sister into a situation where she can become drug adict or relapse.

What is wrong with Maggie? And then she accuse her sister even more.

Better to have no sister than to have a sister like her.

Also, Jubal knows how to behave with drug addicts, but knowing that he still put a recovering person into a difficult situation.

FBI and family drama don't mix
jontarrant29 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Whenever FBI uses family ties as apart of the plot it always ruins the credibility of the episode. Maggie suddenly turns from a competent agent who can handle the toughest situations and make the toughest decisions into an emotional idiot. She tries to bargain with her bosses and attempts to intervene in an ongoing operation with absolutely no regard for the consequences. She then orders her sister to leave NYC because she embarrasses her? This kind of emotional dithering and poor writing damages the plot, the episode and the series and does no service to the actors who are at the mercy of the writers.
