Not a bad film at all

It's not a bad film if you are going to put yourself in the situation of the characters. I just love the message of this film, that you can never love someone if you can't fix and love yourself first.

Came for the indulgent dialogue but left unsympathetic towards the characters

The regression of Bea's character into obsession felt rushed and inconsistent. Coupled with the absurd motivations of JC's character that leaves audience unsympathetic, the film felt as if we're being thrown around instead of being moved by the characters' plights. The noticeable degration of visual quality during the Lanai scenes is also worth mentioning.
