I'm very conflicted
javontestarling26 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
As a standalone episode, this episode is good. Seeing Tate's dreams come into fruition, although it should have been Ghost's in this position, is refreshing to watch. My issue is that the second to last episode of this series should not be solely given to a secondary character that we knew for week's was not responsible for James St. Patrick's murder. While this was a good episode, this should have been given weeks ago, and for that I am conflicted.

Episode getting hate but.........
atres0426 January 2020
People are hating on this episode because it's the next-to-last episode and it focuses on Tate while introducing new characters, BUT despite not seeing the usual cast members it was a fantastic episode!

Ties up some loose wnds, and was fun. I understand why people will be angry with it, but it was really well done.

Great Episode
Shuttlesworth26 January 2020
This was a great episode, directed by the great Mario Van Peebles, my only complaint is that these themes weren't explored sooner! I've always felt that Larenz Tate never had enough to do on the show. This episode allow him to show off his acting chops and he still has it. It was cool too to see the Tate brothers acting as brothers I think that was a first for them too.

Great job
ice_on_fire-201326 January 2020
This episode reflects on the series of suspect who killed St. Patrick..And sparking a scope of his campaign and how it died by his death..Too many unpredectable events led to Tate making an impossible comeback from an impossible situation. Great acting and very good plot..Well done

Why is Tate the winner?
selketentr30 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Councilman Tate worked very hard to get Ghost out of his way. He makes arrangements to give evidence to the FBI. He pays Dre $100,000 to kill Ghost. He tells Tasha that Ghost is going to betray Tariq and urges her to stop Ghost in some way. He hires the Father/Son assassination team to kill Ghost...Tommy and Ghost should have been the winners. Ghost struggles for six seasons to win...The love between these two brothers has certainly been tested and it should've counted for something at the end....why couldn't they win? Put Tariq in reform school or jail for shooting his father and for his other crimes...or, nail Tasha or Sachs for their crimes. Tate is a great actor, but he's a minor character and a late comer. This was not his show!! I don't know how this series will finally end, but as it stands now, I'm not satisfied. Everyone's ending is sad (including Tommy's) ... So far, the only winner is Tate!?! Dissappointed!

One of the most unpredictable episodes!
litjeezy26 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The field of suspects has narrowed exponentially, and yet, I'm still not sure who shot ghost. This was an excellent display of 360 degree storytelling from councilman Tate and his family's perspective. With a surprisingly shocking plot twist, this episode finally tied up lose ends with impressive writing. Special guest "Cedric the Entertainer" and his son were hired hitmen and Injected slight humor in an intense episode. Without a doubt, power has moved into the upper echelon amongst the best series ever created!

But why?
zozo-0226 January 2020
This episode was completely a waste of time. A whole episode for Tate and his background? They could've skip a lot of things.. this episode was to boring, and tbh nobody really wants to know the background of a secondary character at the end of a show.. this show went so bad

Great Episode!
rebecca_shaw729 January 2020
I really enjoyed this, I thought it was well written, well acted and although not a main character, Rashad is a strong one meaning he could hold his own for a full show.

Great to see how everything tied together and he was able to make his comeback into politics.

Exceptionally Good!
matt-wells-313-1947829 February 2020
The writing, Directing and acting in this episode are all outstanding. This is the first time I've ever been moved to review a shoe. The pace and the script are exhilarating and Cedric The Entertainer's cameo is (as you'd expect) very funny.

What went wrong in these last episodes??
brandoman4726 January 2020
Well I'm so glad I forced myself to stay up till midnight to stream this from on demand.. whatever this even is?

Long episodes about small time characters.. Not the reason anyone watched this show!

Why? We've been loyal fans since day 1 when this show first aired! And this is how you thank us? What a load of crap..

It appears as if the entire last season here is going to be the exact same.. focusing on extremely minor characters, mostly all of whom we don't know or even care about!! This is absolutely not the way this should be ending..

At this point, it seems like the only episode of significance in the second half of this season will be the very last one! But when we get all the way to the end here, they better reveal the mystery they've been talking about for a yr now.. I'm going to be absolutely livid if they don't tell us, or if they leave the show on a cliffhanger!! Because if they don't tell us, that would make this entire show, especially this last season completely pointless and irrelevant!!

Man they're butchering the hell out of this show.. I can't figure out what when wrong and why, but this is bad. Really really bad!

Way to end on a high note!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves for making this garbage. About tricking your fans and basically anyone who has followed this from the beginning! Kinda feels like you're just spitting in everyone's face while laughing to the bank yelling, "we got you good suckers.. We just tricked you into wasting another 10 hrs watching this completely useless ending!"

No no just no!

Warning: Spoilers
How could they make him a winner? He always "wins" seemed to fit in for Tate and not Ghost... nope, they've ruined the show with these episodes. Just because Tate is "lucky" doesn't make him a winner. You don't have to watch this episode. I'm a big fan of the show, and have enjoyed it all the way, but it doesn't seem like the writers know how to end this in a "good way". Anyways, I have no expectations left. And if Ghost is really dead, well it makes no sense. All he wanted was to get out of the game but everyone kept pulling him back.

Hot Garbage, Get Your Tickets!
pezzist-130 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
How could Ghost be a incognito genius gangster and get gunned down is the most meaningless fashion?

Why is Tariq alive?

Why is Cooper alive?

Could they possibly add more pointless characters at the end of a season 6 finale?

No one cares about Tate; why is he a key actor at the end of this series?

What's more comical the acting, the writing or the positive reviews on the worst episodes to possibly air on STARZ period?

This show has gone from being the best show to the worst show on a premium platform, in one season. I'm completely embarrassed to have recommended this series to people I respect. The director and writers need to re-evaluate their career choice. Anyone who rated this episode above a 3 should be ashamed because you've completely disrespected the platform. I have the utmost respect for IMDb and the value it brings to the community. I find it unfortunate we aren't respecting cinema with accurate critiques.

Worst episode of Power in a VERY long time...
jonathanquick-4325426 January 2020
Maybe the worst of the series. The duality of Tate's character was way too over the top.

It was no surprise to find out that it was directed by Mario Van Peebles...I've never liked anything he's done.

On the strength of the season overall, I'm giving this episode one extra star.
