Moonfall (2022)

Fun Sci-fi movie

I like moonfall, come on folks! It is a disaster movie, with elements of comedy. Is it suppose to be a super duper deep movie, no, it is a disaster movie about the moon being a megastructure, and some AI / alien attack... It is action and fun, just what I ordered on a boring week night.

And a cool story. The end seems to point out there should be a follow up movie? I hope so, because it was fun and just what the doctor ordered 😂 Who in their right mind try to make this a terrible disaster movie, there is not a single disaster movie that is suppose to be an academy award candidate. It is suppose to be fun, action and popcorn friendly, because not all movies have to be an Oscar winner.

So great work, love to see the sequel.

Close (I) (2022)

Brilliant and sad

I've seen many movies and shorts, this one touched my Heart so much I fell some tears during the entire film.

Great acting from the young actors.

You can see the love between them, and the heartache. It's like watching two soulmates in a bed of flowers...flowers are a big theme here to.

The beautiful acting of these young actors is amazing. They touch your heart, and makes you remember your own youth and coming of age era.

So many feelings so many hormones, it is a special time in life, that you only live once.

And sometimes you grow apart and it hurts deep in your core... This film makes you remember all this and the fear of loosing your best friend.

An amazing short film that you must see.

FUBAR (2023– )

Not particularly good

This is sort of a action comedy tv series. But the actors and actresses are not convincing in their parts, trying to be funny, but it is not very good done, so it becomes a bit stiff.

Arnold does what he can to lift up this show, but it is not enough. Give it a 5/10 just because it is Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I would hope it gets better, this is a review after just 2 episodes, but it doesn't give me an interest to see anything more... Arnold should have chosen something more action packed, to put his name on than this.

It just ain't that good so far...seems just trying to be funny, and action for kids...so I don't know. I rather see Tulsa King with Stallone much more than this. There are many other series that are much better than this. So I am very disappointed.

Some historical errors

The saga of Ragnar Lotbrok is a knowned saga in Norway. The place Kattegat is a bit wrong, because Kattegat is really the sea between Norway and Denmark, so not exactly a place. I guess he and his family lived on the southern part of Norway so Kattegat would be sort of correct.

But there is one huge error in the story. King Harald Hårfagre. He did unit Norway to one Kingdom, but that was 100 years later than the Ragnar Lotbrok saga.

Vikings is a very good serie on Netflix, and HBO have it too, also on television.

I love the details and costumes in this tv series.

The Ragnar Lotbrok saga is a very good story, fascinating to watch it. But I think the show lost some meaning after the death of Ragnar Lotbrok. The revenge of the sons should have been the end.

Great series, you must see it!

White Noise (I) (2022)

Very weird

It says it is a comedy...not very funny.

Good acting, but weird story, hard to follow.

Very strange movie, but not at all a comedy. Experimental movie I would call it.

Fun with the 80's theme. But it is not a kind of movie I would watch again. It becomes to weird and experimental for me.

And it involves a experimental drug use, twists and turns, huge mental health issues, It almost takes you on a ride in their mental problems... But it is again very weird.

Is it thriller, a horror or an experimental mind experiment.

At times becomes boring. The story jumps from one thing, and then it seems like that was just something that had nothing to do with the story...other than we get introduced to the same person much later...well I feel ripped of calling it a comedy, it is far from a comedy.

It is just insane. Giving it a thumb down on Netflix.

Van Helsing (2016–2021)

Hmmm... Watching season 1, really can not watch much more of this crap.

A future earth with vampires dominating the world, many vampires just mindless zombies... I really Hope it gets better, but do not like the concept so far.

Nomadland (2020)

A beautiful story about life

What a great and beautiful story. Portraiting life, struggles, love, family and a magnificient scenery of USA.

Frances McDorman makes a solid and great portrait of Fern.

Loved everything in this movie.

The moderne nomad lifestyle, the hardship and struggles some People face in life, but the strong mindset to keep going, keep living and savning the memories of their loved ones.

Beautiful movie.

What a horrible nazi programme

I am a nurse, I feel sick in My stomach. Just reading that the doctor and nurse doing All these killings of children and adults, just got maximum 4 years in prison, and still could work as a nurse after the prisontime. It is disqusting, these murderers should have gotten life in prison or the death penalty.

A great movie, in nazi Germany told from a childs point of view. How horrible some humans can be. The involuntary euthanasia program in Nazi Germany was one of the worse things in the history of Germany. So many children killed, children that clearly could live a long life in good care, but nazi Germany needed money for their warmachine, not using it on mental sick People. So killing them was cheaper and as the nazi also believed, making their Country free of handicapped and mental sick persons. But as we All know, being a Nazi is the most mental sick you can be...

Sex Education (2019–2023)

Funny and serious

Just started to watch it. This is great! A tv series that gives you insight in the sexual life of everyone... But mostly young adults experimenting, trying out boundries. But also the feelings involved in adolescence and finding out who you are. I love the whole concept of this. You really understand All the characters and love to see how they will evolve through out this series.

Supernatural (2005–2020)

Great tv series but need Jesse back

If you have seen the series you know that we are now near the end. This year is the last season. And I am at season 5 now, My second time around. I have yet to see season 15. Because it is not on prime video yet. But here in season 5,ep.6 we meet the antichrist Jesse. Who is extremely powerful, but a kid. Not like the time with lucifers son. He is much better. I wish he come back to season 15 as a good Guy. Or where is Jesus? We met al kinds of supernatural demons, lucifers, arch Angels, God... But we have not met Jesus. Maybe that will be the twist?

Looking forward to season 15.

Oh My God! I am watching like 3 episodes every Day on prime video. Can not get enough, I am forgetting time, like now, it is 2 in the night... And I just startet a week ago, now I am on season 3!!! It is great, I love it, the story, the intrigues, the drama, the whole concept.

What a waste of money

Getting a bad vibe after yet another young sex and drugs film from Larry Clark.

just saw this youtube version it wasn't 90 minutes but 75 minutes long. bad quality in youtube, but it is there.

budget of €3.500 000.- what a complete waste of film production money, if they can't even put a decent youtube video, and why youtube first? Well it isn't worth seeing in cinema anyway. But a youtube movie shouldn't cost €3,5 million to make.

complete movie; waste, drugs, prostitution, skateboard, alcohol, sex, sex and more sex. preferably with young looking skaters. It seems to be Larry Clark's fetish to make sex films with young adults/teens. Have FBI looked into this? there is NOTHING new about this, it is just yet another Larry Clark film with the same theme as many others, and it gives me a bad vibe.

Dominion (2014–2015)

Piece of crap that should never have been made!

I have seen Legion, that is a very cool film, but this crap...what the h... This is suppose to be inspired by Legion. No! No! No! Why in God's name have it been made into a very idiotic futuristic society? If you where going to make something cool like Legion, you make it like in Legion the present, with the war, not a end of days with humans living in a desert of old Las Vegas calling it Vega. I have seen all 8 episodes so far and I am bored, I have lost my faith in the whole concept of this series. Sometimes it's poor acting also that brings it down, and sometimes just because the whole story is an insult to the cool movie Legion. I mean I love a good sci-fi or adventure movie or TV series. my favorites are; Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, Supernatural, Grimm, True Blood, Spartacus, Rome...but this isn't near those movies and series. I do not know why HBO ever would make this, they usual make great TV. But no HBO I am so sorry but if this is what you have for future TV shows, I will cancel you.

Very disappointed customer.

Jurassic Shark (2012)

God help us all if this is the coming filmmakers of the world.

When making a feature movie I would guess talent should also be applied? Anyway...the story is very dodgy, the acting is very bad, and the lightning and sound...is it on the dv-cams own mic it is made? I hope the people in it used at least aliases so they would have a chance in the future.

And the scene is a small lake, that is suppose to have an 16 meters shark?! and of course special effects ain't used at all, we see a great white shark glued in with "photoshop". I give you for the effort, but really...this must be kids that have made, no way in hell it is from even a film school.

I do not know more to say, I guess this will get a razzie award for the worse film ever in history made. Lol.

Great story - bad directed and produced

great story, destroyed by awful production and directing.

The actors are doing a good job, at least some of them. But the director and producer seem to have been making a stupid and annoying soap opera. What is it with that annoying dramatic music throughout the entire film, it is disturbing the whole story, and it is not dramatic, it feels like I am watching a very very bad episode of a soap.

Misplaced music, bad sounding. Most sounds like phone ringing and stuff is like added after they filmed it, and so bad that you actually can hear it is in a studio. not very good produced I must say.

If this story was made in a Hollywood production it would absolutely have been better, the whole concept is great, but with such crappy filmmakers it must have been doomed from the start. This story need some great sci-fi filmmakers, then it would be a box office most likely.

Sorry guys put this is NOT worth watching at all.

Soldiers of Fortune (2012)

THIS FILM IS JUST GARBAGE!

wish that was all I had to write in this review. But according to the rules I have to write more. I am sorry to say I can't believe Christian Slater or Sean Bean can be that broke, that they agrees to such a film, it makes even B-movies look good. They'll only get extra parts in any films after this horror of a so called film. It was like seeing a bad TV show from the 80's or 90's. No story what so ever. How could it be possible to use $8000 000 on this piece of s...., couldn't that money been used for a better film, or a much better story. It's a joke, it's not a movie at all, it is just a piece of garbage and people shouldn't spend money on renting it, because it is not ever worth it.

Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)

Great remake of an old fairy tale

This movie had all the amazing effects, and it had Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen !!! I wish it was made in 3D, because it had some great effects of magic and action, and it would have been amazing in 3D. But the story is made new. It is much better than the old children fairy tale, this is Snow White for 13 years old and up. It is a great story, a times very frightening, and it shows the love Snow White is known for in all the stories about her.

This story is a new remake. It has much more action than any other remakes of Snow White. And in this remake the huntsman becomes one of the main characters, and his love for Snow White. It isn't a love story...it is a story of fighting Evil and believing in that good will destroy evil at any time. And even a story that says even if a person is evil, it is always a reason why that person becomes that way. You even get to feel a little sorry for the Evil Queen.

I recommend it for everyone. Worth every penny!

Stargate Universe (2009–2011)

SGU wanted

Will some great TV network pick up where SGU left. The fans would like to continue the voyage with Destiny and her crew.

It really shouldn't end without an ending...we need to continue Destiny's path. It's like you said A and B but forgot about C.

The voyage stopped just when it was getting more and more interesting.

But lets stop with all this planets for food and stuff. Lets make Destiny now more powerful after 3 years in FTL. Let some new characters like a couple ancient be on board of Destiny, and they just woke up during the sleep of the human crew, and they have fixed Destiny to her full power, unbeatable...

will the drones come back? who made the drones? humans? Where is Destiny going? will the crew ever see earth again?

it is enough for at least a 3 season.

Prometheus (I) (2012)

Crappy, big disappointment, boring

These are the words to describe Prometheus. It was in fact a crappy movie compared to the best in 2012. I will give it a 6/10 here, only of the goodness of my heart and for some cool effects. But the story was a old story in new wrapping...or was it old story in old wrapping. I do not know. I caught myself almost falling a sleep in the middle of this boring movie. This movie is blown up to be a "WOW!" Must see movie..but no...waste of money, I urge people to don't go to the cinema for this it isn't worth it. To make a point to this worse ever Ridley Scott movie, just download it when it comes on any torrent, because it really ain't worth the penny to see. I used $30 on a 3D viewing of this movie, and are very disappointed.

Ridley Scott you know you can do better than that!

John Carter (2012)

Not worth the use of $200 million

Well now I have seen it, was not sure if I wanted cause of the bad critics, but since it was used $200 million on making it I guess I wanted to support a little.

But since it is in the $200 million category I was expecting a lot better than this. The graphic was a sometimes not that good, easy to see computer animation. The story very bad and acting was mostly like "I do not believe in this myself". So no, it wasn't worth $200 millions. I even caught myself almost falling a sleep sometimes, and that is really bad for a movie in that amount class.

I mean see Battleship or The Avengers, it is in that amount class, but those two beat the crap out of John Carter. The title is also very bad, no one in Europe knows who the hell John Carter is.

And life on mars is just so outdated, that it is amazing Disney didn't even want to make this movie. Life on Mars is boring, because it is not even possible to imagine it because it is so close to us. So the story fell before it was started. Maybe it was cool in the 80' but not in the year 2012.

And when you get a crew that seems to have been more interested in picking up the paycheck than the story...as audience you see that in the movie.

Sorry but being kind I'll give it a 6/10 here.

For that amount of money it should have been much, much better.

The Avengers (2012)

Best ever!

Now this is a movie that I will recommend to anyone. It is awesome!' I been two times to see it in 3D already. It have cost me the price of $42 already (only for the tickets). But it was worth every penny spent, and for the coca-cola and popcorn I would say I have spent about $55 only on the avengers! But I am guessing for a The Avenger II and III etc. Because with Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man it is a must see. And waiting for the wolverine to come into The Avengers, I saw Iron Man/Tony Stark in the wolverine movie, so there must be another coming with the wolverine also joining the avengers. And is the biggest villain we see in the end Thanos? it must be... It is for me only Thanos and Loki that are the interesting villains. It was also a time where JLA and Avengers met together and fought villains. But not all JLA and Avengers characters are great. The best ones we would as audience see together in a battle for good I feel is: Superman, Batman, Spiderman, The Wolverine, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor and the Daredevil. Of the villains there are only some I can think of that would be supercool in a fight against evil, the evilest of them all: Doomsday, Thanos, Loki, Luthor and Zod.

I am waiting and looking forward to the next round!

10/10 on IMDb.com - this movie is one of the greatest action/adventure movies I ever seen. I'll buy the blu-ray when that gets out, all of them...

Black squadron and USA vs.racism

Hi

Just saw the movie. It was a good movie, but expected bigger roles for Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard...I mean the two biggest names NOT as main characters?! Anyway...good film, based on true events. So it is a good WWII film, and some dogfight..needed more dogfight and more of the Nazi vs. black wingmen in the skies. It is really funny (not the right word) to think about USA fighting the good fight against the Nazi and racism, and on the other side they themselves are almost Nazis because of their own way of being racists against the blacks of America. I do not know if they like to be called blacks or afro Americans or Negroes. According to the film it is Negroes that is the right word. But still it puts things in perspective, that so many whites, pinks or what we should call ourselves, of the USA, was so bad towards the Negro fighters of WWII. They have also been forgotten in many movies. Anyway according to the latest issue of Illustrated science we all comes from Africa. They have located the Neanderthal gene and another in Europeans and Asians, but those genes are not to be found in any Africans. It means that homo sapience is the only gene they can say is pure and it is in Africa, and Europeans (and also Americans because most of you came from Europe) is a mix between Homo sapience and Neanderthal, it is official. And Asians are a mix between homo sapience and another species. So we all are humans, but form different mixes. So don't be a racist, because it isn't any of you that can say you ain't from Africa, because we all are from there if you go back ages.

The Karate Kid (2010)

Great remake

This karate kid has a kind of remake over it, but still something new and even better than the old ones. Smith is a real good actor and Chan of course is the greatest. Who wouldn't wanna have Chan as their karate teacher. As you all know...Harald Zwart, the director, loves the back to the future film...I am just waiting for him to make number 4. That will be awesome. Anyway...Karate kid is great, it is new and old at the same time, and it is funny and serious at the same time. Loved this film when I was young, I saw all of the karate kid films, had them on VHS also, and now I bought the DVD of this one. Worth every penny. And it is a piece of film history because of the old ones, you have to have this also in the collection.

Into the White (I) (2012)

war enemies becomes friends

I just saw the movie. I give it a 9, it would have been a 10 if they had a scene of the planes fighting in the sky before the start. Sort of was missing that war scene so we could more get into the situation of hate of another.

But the actors does a great job, everyone is great. The beautiful and harsh landscape of the Norwegian mountains and wilderness is really beautiful and spectacular, and shows what sort of situation they are in. You get involved as an audience, you feel their emotions and feel their pain, and feels sorry for even the Germans. It is a story of enemies that hate each other, and end up as friends. A story based on true happenings and that is just what is so wonderful about it, seeing that even if they are true enemies, working together to stay alive is a much stronger force than hate and war.

The film is worth every penny to watch.

Cars 2 (2011)

violence is that all you got

I loved Cars. And was looking forward to Cars 2. but then I saw the trailer, and I saw the film with my son who is 5 years old. And I say to the makers of this piece of crap:

If the only thing you can make is violence and bombs and think that is the moral and corruption of young children's minds we want you better hang up your hat and move to another industry.

Why is all the cartoons now a days about blowing the most up, shooting and killing. I mean do you not have any better imagination than that?

Cars 2 could have followed the story of Cars. A story of hope and dreams. But no..you wanted bombs and grenades.

So this movie cars 2 are banned at our home, my other kids will not see it, and it is not recommended for any kids younger than 13.

Can Disney make the beautiful children films they are known for? I mean films of love, hope, happiness, magic etc. That is what our kids want. I am really thinking of stopping all my kid channels on TV Disney, Disney XD, Cartoon network, Nick...etc. Why you ask? well because all the programs are about bombs, violence, fighting, shooting, killing...there are no longer a good moral to the stories, it is about blowing up as much as possible in the least amount of time. So why should I degrade my kids minds with this violence?

parents should ask themselves: what future do we want for our kids? when all science point to the fact that all this violence in films is the reason for much of the violence happening for real in the world and right outside our neighborhood. parents should ask themselves: what moral things should we learn to our children, how do we want them to become when they grow up?
