My Ideas for the Catching Fire/Mockingjay Cast

Johanna Mason Tania Raymonde would be the ultimate Johanna. If anyone has seen her in Lost you'll know what I'm talking about. Looks wise and talent wise she would be amazing as Johanna. Tania Raymonde is Johanna.

Johanna Mason This girl has been making Johanna videos recently and let me tell you, they are excellent. She really embodies Johanna's attitude, emotion, and inner self incredibly well. She has brought Johanna to life through her videos with integrity and accuracy, and she is also very very talented. Passion + Talent = Dianna Craig FTW. She should be at least considered.

Johanna Mason I am actually really digging the rumors. I've always thought she was a fantastic actress and love her films. After seeing her in Suckerpunch and Hatfields & McCoys I haven't a doubt in my mind that she would be an incredible Johanna. She has spunk!

Finnick Odair I just saw him as Ares in Immortals and I instantly thought that he would be a great Finnick. He has the looks, he's talented, great bone structure, looks like a Greek God, would look incredible holding a trident, has a great physique, and is still relatively unknown. I would just really love to see him in this role.

Finnick Odair I was watching Hatfields & McCoys and thought he would make a great Finnick. He's got some real talent and he's quite the looker.

Finnick Odair/Young Haymitch I was so impressed with his portrayal of Finnick in the Mainstay Production Finnick & Annie videos, I think that he would make an excellent Finnick in CF. He is, unfortunately, a bit young for the role but he could still work. If anything he should at least be considered for the role as well as the role of Young Haymitch.

Mags She isn't what I imagined Mags to look like (yes, I pictured her as Caucasian) but she has the PERFECT physique and I was having trouble finding an actress with the right physique for Mags. Also, especially after seeing The Help, I believe she would play Mags beautifully.

Mags Little and old but perhaps not little and old enough.

Mags Obviously her main photo is from decades ago but in more recent photos she is very small and very old. She's been in a lot of great films, my favorite of hers being The Russians are Coming! The Russians are Coming! I'd love to see her as Mags.

Annie Cresta I actually really hope that they go with a complete unknown but if not then I think that Elizabeth Olsen would be good.

Annie Cresta I just got done watching the first two seasons of Game of Thrones and this girl is so talented. Honestly I bet she could make an awesome Johanna but she would also make an incredible Annie, she has a great look as well.

Annie Cresta I really like her look and she is a good actress, if they do not get an unknown for Annie I wouldn't mind seeing her in the role. The only thing is that she has a fairly heavy accent.

Coin She plays cold, hard, and bitter so well and looks lovely with gray hair. Not to mention she's a rockstar.

Coin Same as Helen, she can play cold, hard, and bitter extremely well. But Helen is my first choice.

Plutarch HEECK YES!!

Plutarch This is exactly how I imagined Plutarch when reading. I imagined him more so as how he looked as the Prime Minister in The Princess Diaries (he had hair in it). He's a great actor, incredibly talented, and he has the right look, and pulls of statesman and prestige very well. Although he has been in a lot of Comedic roles he has the talent and range to pull off Plutarch. But I also like James Gandolfini, Brendan Gleeson or Bruce McGill for Plutarch.

Beetee I always pictured Jim Broadbent as Beetee when reading the books, I think he'd be great!

Beetee Benjamin Linus. 'Nuff said.

Wiress I pictured her and Jim Broadbent as Wiress and Beetee while reading. I know, I know, it's Harry Potter all over again and never going to happen. But I just can't help myself.

Wiress My top choice for Wiress so far. She'd be incredible. Check out Antichrist if you don't believe me.

Wiress The Basketcase. She'd make an excellent Wiress ;)

Cashmere She honestly looks perfect for Cashmere to me. But she is in the last two Twilight movies as Kate Denali, so I don't know if they would cast her seeing as how the Twilight actors have been banned from any of the THG films. But she would honestly be perfect as Cashmere.

Cashmere I can't believe I didn't think of her sooner! I loved her in St. Trinians, she has a sassy personality and has the right look.

Cashmere If Leven Rambin had an older sister, this would be her.

Gloss I've seen this guy suggested for Finnick before, but he is not Finnick at all. He would, however, be a PERFECT Gloss.

Gloss Another option for Gloss.

Enobaria She does mostly stunt work (which is actually perfect for CF) but after seeing her as Viper in Doomsday I can see no one more perfect for Enobaria than Lee-Anne Liebenberg.

Enobaria Megan Franich ala Iris in 30 Days of Night I can just imagine her ripping out other tributes throats with her teeth. Trying not to typecast her but honestly she looks great with pointy teeth.

Enobaria I could also Rhona Mitra as Enobaria, she would just look so great with the teeth. Not to mention she can kick some serious ass and can be quite frightening.

Brutus I have loved this guy ever since D3: The Mighty Ducks, but I think that he would be particularly good in the role of Brutus based off of his role in Band of Brothers, in which he was phenomenal.

Cecelia She would honestly be the perfect Cecelia. She's so talented and her look is just right.

Cecelia She is such talented woman with such a warm motherly persona.

Woof He is no stranger to war films and I would be very interested to see him in CF as Woof.

Woof Ian Holm would be an excellent Woof, and he's so dang old now so he totally fits the role.

Woof He was great in The Walking Dead and his character just got killed off so he's free. Not exactly how I pictured Woof but he'd be an interesting choice and I think he would do well.

Morphling Jeremy Davies in Rescue Dawn is the epitome of what a morphling looks like. He's perfect really, though I am not sure exactly how old the morphlings are, I believe they are fairly old so he may be too young.

Morphling She'd be the best morphling, honestly she would.

Blight I've seen this guy in so many war movies, he's incredible in them all and he has the right personality for Blight.

Blight I would just love to see him as Blight. Definitely one of my top choices.

Chaff Well he WAS Mr. Eko after all, and was pretty impressive.

Chaff This guy is just really awesome, he'd make a superb Chaff, especially after seeing him in Gladiator.

Seeder She looks the part and is the right age, would love to see her in this role.

Seeder I remember her from Romeo & Juliet all those many years ago, I forgot all about her but stumbled upon her one day and thought she would make an excellent Seeder, she is the right age too!

Seeder She is exactly how I think Seeder should look, but she is a bit young for the role.

Seeder or Lyme A bit young for Seeder but beside that I think she'd be wonderful.

Lyme Tilda Swinton pretty much is Lyme.

Paylor I always imagined Elizabeth Mitchell as Paylor. She has that leader quality and doesn't take people's sh*t.

Paylor She is so great in Game of Thrones, evil but great. I feel that she has a nice look for Paylor and I have no doubt she would be able to really bring Paylor to life as a character, despite how evil she is on GofT ;)

Paylor A younger option for Paylor. I could see her in the role.

Bonnie I'm not sure how this girl's acting is but she looks how I imagined Bonnie.

Twill I just love Moon Bloodgood and I believe that she would make a wonderful Twill, she also has the right look.

Twill Another option for Twill.

Hazelle She was so amazing in Jericho. She would make a great Hazelle.

Hazelle Catherine Keener just looks like Hazelle to me.

Delly Cartwright I would love to see this girl as Delly.

Delly Cartwright Another option for Delly.

Leevy/Bristel After seeing her in Terra Nova, she needs to be in CF. She'd make a great Leevy or possibly Bristel.

Darius I saw him in War Horse and he was brilliant, I think he would be an excellent choice for Darius.

Darius He was very good in Jericho and he has the right physique/appearance for Darius.

Thom He was also in War Horse as the lead and he was outstanding. He also looks very much how I pictured Thom to look.

Thom or Messalla He has the edginess of Messalla but I also think he'd be a nice Thom, may be too small of a role for him since he's been having all of these fantastic roles. He's great though, I would love to see him in the THG films.

Thom I would really like to see Harry Treadaway in some more films. He has done a lot of lower budget things lately, I think he would make a great Thom.

Cressida I never really knew who Cressida should be or how I imagined her but I came across Juliette Lewis and she would be amazing, especially with the shaved head and vine tattoos. She is an amazing actress and I believe she would be great!

Though I would be game for an unknown as well.

Messalla So far he is really the only person i've actually really liked for Messalla. He may look too much like Lenny Kravitz though.

Messalla Another option for Messalla.

Fulvia Cardew Can we please please please have Marcia Gay Harden in this movie. I think she would make a great Fulvia, but any role would be okay by me as long as she is in it!

Fulvia Cardew Had a difficult time finding a decent Fulvia but I think Geena Davis would be quite good in the role. She also has that Captiol look to her.

Fulvia Cardew Originally I was thinking about Kelly Macdonald for Cecelia because she is so warmhearted and has that motherly persona, but that I thought "oh wow, she could actually make an excellent Fulvia". Just think about it for a minute, she'd be so interesting as Fulvia, definitely different than many of her past characters but she would be amazing!

But I would love to see her as Cecelia.

Boggs The reason I think that he would make an incredible Boggs is based almost solely off of his performance as Sgt. John Basilone in the mini-series The Pacific. If you haven't seen it, you should really see it, it's one of the greatest war series second to Band of Brothers. Jon Seda's performance in it assured me how incredible he would be as Boggs.

Boggs His character in Jericho was so much like Boggs and he played it well. I would love to see him in this role!

Boggs Have to have Karl Urban in the mix for Boggs. He's just great.

Jackson Fits the physical description well and I can imagine her being annoying and no nonsense. She was also great in Lost.

Homes Fits the description to a T and has been in so many war films and series this would be no problem for him, his character in The Pacific comes to mind.

Mitchell He's perfect because I can see him trying to attack Katniss due to the pods, and he just got killed off on The Walking Dead so no conflicts there.

Leeg 1/2 I suppose she is just for reference as to how I pictured the Leegs. I would rather them played by actual twins or sisters that really resemble eachother.

York Besides maybe being a teensy bit younger than York (middle aged) she's perfect.

York Another option for York, she'd be awesome but Simone Kessell is still my first choice.

Tigris She practically screams Tigris!

Dr. Aurelius He's great at playing the cool laid back doctor type.

Dr. Aurelius Another option for Dr. Aurelius.

Dalton I honestly forgot all about Dalton but when I did recall him I found David Meunier (who was excellent in Jericho) and I think he has the right look for Dalton, he looks like a livestock specialist.

Fulvia Cardew Another amazing actress I would love to see as Fulvia.

Wiress Great choice for Wiress, never thought of her. Loving it!

Coin I love Sigorney Weaver, she would be so great as Coin :)
