"His eyes were closed, his mouth was open, in a sort of smile, like he was in another place, a beautiful place, and that place was me." ~Justin
I thought that episode 2 of Queer as Folk was a great transition into some of the deeper, more heart-wrenching moments of Queer as Folk, and it was heavy on the humor. I really enjoyed the introduction of the whole Michael/Tracy problem and how awkward things are at his job. Justin's pursuit of Brian just further proved how lovable of a character Brian really is. You start to notice some of the show's little quirks and it becomes all the better. My favorite scene, without a doubt, in the second episode was when Michael is lying in the bed with the magazine and has the flashback. I also loved all of the dialogue and interactions between Justin and Brian, and Brian's little speech was just a perfect portrayal of his character. Overall, a very powerful episode that better conveyed the tone of the show than the pilot.
